Who We Are
Our business began in Laois, Ireland where my father began fixing shoes and leather goods like his father and father before him. After a number of years I took over the family business, added a key cutting service and introduced my wife, Gráinne, into the shop. Gráinne then introduced the element of personalized printing into our small business. Now she uses all her fantastic creativity to create all your personalized goods while I continue my fathers work with repairing shoes and leather goods.

A few words about
OUR HISTORY
After two previous generations, my father Frank created the bones of The Leather Shop. He would continue on our generations trade by teaching and mentoring me.
My father would move our business to a small shop in Laois Shopping Centre, creating The Leather Shop we have today. I would work here alongside my father helping him in his business and learning from him.
I will forever appreciate all my fathers teaching and after his passing, I was confident to continue on his work after all he had taught me.
Once I took on the family business, my wife Gráinne introduced custom printing to our shop. This opened so many doors for us and led to a whole new customer base and helped The Leather Shop turn into what it is today
Now, I continue on my fathers work in The Leather Shop and Gráinne continues to work on making customized products from home.
With the help of our children, Gráinne continues to curate new products and designs everyday. Our children are now startingto learn the business so it can be carried on for even more generations to come.
